Updated 4-8-2021
The following rules and regulations have been put in place in an effort to help keep our patrons and staff safe and comply with the State’s ever changing guidelines.
FACE COVERINGS: As per Governor Tom Wolf’s statewide mandate, all patrons ages 2 and above must wear a Face Covering at all times inside the building, including while on the ice. This includes skaters (youth and adult skaters), coaches, on ice officials, and off ice officials. For the protection of our employees, they are not responsible for enforcing your adherence to this order. If the Face Covering impedes the skater’s breathing or causes anxiety, the skater may lower the Face Covering to the chin until such condition subsides.
ENTERING & EXITING THE BUILDING: All patrons must enter and exit the building using the front doors. The doors are clearly labeled for entrance and exit
SOCIAL DISTANCING: All patrons are expected to maintain at least a 6 foot distance from each other at all times. Under no circumstances are there to be any gatherings or congregating anywhere in the building.
PARENTS/SPECTATORS: In order to comply with the new occupancy limits issued by the State of Pennsylvania on Sunday, April 4, Twin Ponds will be allowing 2 parents/spectators per athlete to attend events. Spectators are responsible to self-monitor this rule. Twin Ponds will be periodically checking compliance with this rule. Parents/spectators should not come into the building until 5 minutes prior to their athlete’s scheduled ice time. They should go directly into the bleachers and should social distance from any other parents/spectators. All parents/spectators will leave the building as soon as their event is concluded. You can wait for the athlete outside. FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES WHILE YOU ARE IN THE BUILDING. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO WEAR A FACE COVERING – DON’T COME!
SELF-SCREENING PRIOR TO ENTRY: We respectfully request that patrons not come to any scheduled ice time or enter the rink if any of the below apply:
LOCKER ROOMS AND DRESSING POLICY: There are no locker rooms available for use by youth players. All players should come to the rink dressed or dress in the parking lot. We have provided benches in the front of the building. Parents/players MUST observe social distancing when using the benches. Take turns!
SKATES: Skaters must come to the rink fully dressed in all of their equipment.
Skaters will be permitted into the rink 15 minutes prior to their scheduled ice time for putting on skates. We have the former arcade in the front of the building as the Skate Tying Room. This room will be marked with social distancing cues for skaters. Skaters are only permitted to put on skates, no dressing or undressing is permitted in the building. Skaters will then move to the lobby area to wait for the start of their ice time.
Skaters will be permitted to return to these areas after their ice time is over to remove skates only, and must exit the building immediately after removing skates. There will be no removal of equipment in the building.
We provide a cart in the common area of both rinks for shoes/skate guards while the player is on the ice.
NO HOCKEY BAGS OR BAGS OR ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED IN THE BUILDING.
Social Distancing MUST be maintained in these areas at all times, or skaters will be asked to return outside to put on their skates. Face Coverings are to be worn in the Skate Tying Room.
CLEANING PROCEDURES: Our staff has been working to ensure that our building is clean and disinfected. All areas of the building are cleaned and disinfected numerous times throughout the day.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. Stay Safe and we WILL get through this together.

Dear Customers, Parents, Coaches & Skaters,
In response to the updated CDC recommendations and the State of PA mitigation orders for COVID-19, we will be ending our mask mandate and capacity limits. Effective immediately anyone vaccinated will not be required to wear a facial covering. Our capacity limit will also return to 100% and we will resume the use of Locker Rooms, showers, and restroom areas. Anyone not vaccinated should continue to wear a facial covering until either vaccinated or stated otherwise by the Sate of PA. The last year has been an extremely difficult and trying experience for everyone and we are eager to continue to move back to some form of normalcy.
